What Separates this Camp From Others?

  • Head Coach David Rubio personally directs all sessions.
  • All camp coaches are trained to use the same techniques.

Team Camp

Who: High school girls and boys TEAMS.
Capacity: 48 teams (minimum 8 players per team).
36 Girls Teams and 12 Boys Teams
Spaces are available on a first come first serve basis until the camp is filled.
Description: The team camp is designed to give high school teams the opportunity to practice together in a collegiate atmosphere. The practices will include advanced offensive and defensive systems that will raise the overall level of the team. Team system work and tournament play will be provided each day. Teams have the option of attending the team camp with or without a camp coach provided. If the team attends with a coach, the fee is $110 per player. If the team opts for a camp coach to be assigned to them, the fee is $140 per player. This decision is made by your coach.
Two sessions per day.
1st— Individual Skill Training
2nd— Team Tournament Play
Date/Time: 7/14 2pm-9pm, 7/15 9am-4:30pm, 7/16 9am-4pm
Check-in: July 14 @ McKale Center from 12-1:30pm
Registration &
Medical forms:
All participants (each member of team) must complete the camp policy and medical release form. High school coaches are responsible for sending in all individual player registration/medical release forms by July 1, 2017.  All forms must come together, as individual forms will NOT be processed. Individual submissions will be returned.
Payment: Deposits of $500 or $50/camper is due by June 1 to secure a spot in the camp. The remaining balance is due at check-in. Make deposit checks payable to David Rubio Volleyball Camp. Credit card payments are not accepted for team camp. Upon check-in, personal checks will no longer be accepted. Balances are to be paid by cash or money orders only.
Deposits are the ONLY way to secure your teams spot in Team Camp.  After June 1, if you have not made your deposit, your space is not guaranteed.
Meals: There are NO meals provided.
Housing: There is NO housing provided.
Transportation: There is NO transportation provided.
Refund/Cancel: If you must cancel, please let us know immediately. It will give another team the opportunity to participate. There is a $50 non-refundable fee applied to each camper. There will be no refunds for teams that cancel within a week of the start date.
Parking: If you bring a vehicle, you are responsible for obtaining a parking permit. For permits, call (520) 621-3710. You will not need a parking pass for pick-up/drop-off scheduled times (there will be temporary parking available) however, if you plan on staying an extended amount of time on the pick-up/drop-off dates you will need to obtain a permit. You DO NOT need parking permits for weekends or weekdays after 5pm. Limited metered parking is also available.
